The year is 1996 and this is my 1st cd. I was 19 years old. (though it was recorded a year earlier when I was 18.) This album is sentimental to me- having it been my 1st professional cd. Prior to that I recorded some original songs on cassettes and sold them to my class mates. This though- was very big to me. It's naive, hopeful, and full of emotion. (as any kid was at that age) "Sticking Around" and "Leaving Unexpectedly" were the 2 big hits, and people also took a liking to "You know", "I Don't","Pocket Of War" and the most different but interesting track "26th Love" with Jerry Sabatini on trumpet. A bluesy poem of how the world seemed to be to me at that time. I wanted so much to change the world and make it a place where everyone could be comfortable just being themselves... So here it is- Enjoy it, and hear the growth from cd to cd. The newest "Keeping The Space" and "Back Roads"(2008, 2009) have done very well... tracks have been played on the radio, and positive feedback has been received. I have enjoyed performing all these years, and look forward to my next musical journey. I hope u enjoy these collections....
